  • 1952 A/S Metalock in Copenhagen and Deutche Metalock GmbH in Hamburg was founded
  • 1964 Svenska Metalock is acquired by Gränges group
  • 1967 The company changes name to Gränges Metalock
  • 1969 Business in Malmö is started
  • 1970 Development of the on-site machine techniques begin
  • 1980 Electrolux acquires the Gränges group
  • 1989 Metalock (Britain) Ltd. is incorporated into the Gränges Metalock family and we establish ourselves in France
  • 1990 The business in Hofors is taken over by Ovako Steel
  • 1995 Midroc acquires Gränges Metalock from Electrolux
  • 1996 Midroc acquires Metalock Africa in Johannesburg
  • 2001 The swedish divisions form new companies and are specialised
  • 2006 The company is merged under the name Metalock Sweden AB
  • 2007 BEMAB and Hofors is integrated into the company
  • 2008 The subsidiary Stirep is now a part of Metalock Sweden AB
  • 2010 The swedish divisions form new companies and are specialised
